Deposit Required Process for Chariot Energy

Option 1: Proceed with Current Provider (Deposit Required)

If the customer wants to proceed with the provider requiring a deposit:
1. Initiate a three-way call with the provider.
2. Introduce the call by saying:

“This is Power Wizard with [Customer Name] on the line. The customer would like to process the deposit payment.”

Provide the Enrollment Confirmation Number.
Assist the customer in completing the payment with the provider directly.

Option 2: Deposit Waiver (If Customer Qualifies)

If the customer qualifies for a deposit waiver, they can email their documentation to:

- Chariot also offers a Active Military option as a waiver.
  Active military personnel are eligible to have their deposit waived. Submit a copy of a valid, non-expired, military ID.
You will see these emails in the New Agent Portal.
Once received:
1. Forward the documentation to the provider’s customer care email address (available on the provider’s homepage).
2. Include the Enrollment Confirmation Number from Power Wizard in the email. Please see email template below.

Option 3: Try Another Provider (No Deposit Required)

Inform the customer that we can enroll them with a different provider that does not require a deposit.
Collect customer information and advise for security reasons we do not need to keep record of their personal information (SSN, DOB)
